Jana
and Maryanne are restoring a 1700s New England farm to productive use.
Their workforce currently includes a trip of cashmere goats, a confusion of Guinea fowl, a Halflinger and a team of Great Pyrenese livestock guard dogs.
Stone Harvest
Farm's 110 acres nestle along the eastern edge of the Quabbin Reservoir in Petersham,
Massachusetts, a mixture of woodland and open fields. The woodland is being managed to
combine forestry and animal grazing or silvopasture.
Stone Harvest Farm goats are
bred to the North American Cashmere standard. We are members of the Cashmere
Goat
Association and members of Petersham Grange No. 95.
